Payments and card storage are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches miya.life's servers, and Settings → Billing inside the app opens your Stripe portal to update the card, switch plans, download invoices, or cancel.
Work it out

Your number, before you sign anything.

Set how you would pay and how many people are on the account. The total is the real one: $9 a month or $79 a year for the first account, $8 a month or $79 a year for each person you add.

Why one price

Everything, for everyone.

No feature hostages, no upgrade ladder. One product, one price, what you pay for is what costs money to run: the server, the AI, the storage, and the person who keeps it all up.

Billing

Miya Money is included in every plan, at money.miya.life, on the same sign in: budgets, spending, debts, cash flow and net worth. Bank linking is optional and read only. What it does.

Add-ons

More, only if you need it.

Both plans include far more than most people use. If you are the exception, top up without changing plan. Extras are used before your monthly allowance and carry over month to month, for as long as the account is open.

Extra replies

For a month where you leaned on the assistant harder than usual. Bought replies are spent first, and whatever is left stays for next month.

Extra storage

For photographs, scans and documents. Added straight onto your quota and kept for as long as the account is open.

Added to your plan

Pay with the email address on your account. That is how an extra finds its way to you, and it arrives within a few seconds of paying. If you use a different address by mistake, write to us and we will move it across.

Questions, answered.

Do I need a card to start?
No. Register and the 14 days begin. Stripe only enters the picture when you decide to subscribe.
What happens when the trial ends?
Your account goes read-only rather than getting wiped: you can still open everything and export it. If an unpaid account is then never opened again, we write three times over five weeks before closing it, and opening it once is enough to stop that. Subscribe whenever, and it picks up exactly where it was.
How do I manage my subscription?
Two places, whichever suits you. Inside the app, Settings then Billing shows your plan, your additional users and what is left of your monthly assistant replies. On the website, the Account page shows the same plan and users. Either one opens your Stripe billing portal to update the card, switch monthly to yearly, download invoices or cancel. Adding and removing users happens in the app, so there is only ever one place writing to your subscription. No email required, no retention flow.
Does Miya Money connect to my bank?
Only if you turn it on. Bank sync is an optional add-on in Miya Money, priced per connected bank per month, and it links through Plaid: transactions and balances arrive read only, and unlinking cuts the connection the same day. With it off there is no bank connection of any kind, and you bring figures in by uploading a statement you download yourself from your own bank, as OFX or CSV, or by typing them. Imports are matched against what is already there so nothing lands twice. It is a little more effort at the start, and one less place your bank credentials could ever end up.
Is my card information safe?
Card details go to Stripe, the payment processor behind much of the internet, and only to Stripe. miya.life stores your plan and its renewal date, nothing more.
How do additional users work?
You add users from Settings then Billing, and each one receives a full account: their own login, their own private systems, their own assistant replies and their own storage. Nobody sees anyone else's records unless it is shared deliberately. Each person is $8 a month, or $79 a year if you are on the yearly plan, charged on your own renewal date rather than a second bill. Remove a user and the charge stops at your next renewal.
Assistant replies, and what each one counts as
Every plan includes a monthly number of assistant replies. A reply counts as one. Scanning a meal photo counts as two, because reading a picture takes about twice the work. Pictures you attach to bills, notes, or records are simply stored and never count. A reply that searches the web counts as three, because the live search itself is billed on top of the answer. Everything else, however long the answer, counts as one. You can see what is left this month in Settings then Billing, and top up without changing plan.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Settings → Billing. You keep access through the period you've paid for, and your export stays available afterward.
What about refunds?
If something's wrong in the first 30 days of a paid subscription, email and it's refunded. The free trial exists so this rarely comes up.
Will the price change on me?
Not for an active subscription. If the price moves later, it moves for new accounts.

Try the whole thing for 14 days.

Then it's $9 a month solo, or $19 for the whole household. That's the entire pricing page.
